Refunds on Paid Seat Upgrades (Premium & First)

This page covers whether a paid seat upgrade (Premium or a paid First upgrade) can be refunded. For how to buy upgrades see "Agentic Airways Cabin Classes" and "First Class Upgrades on Agentic Airways"; for ticket (fare) refunds see "Agentic Airways Refund Eligibility and How to Use Travel Credit".

Seat upgrades are generally non-refundable

In most cases, seat upgrades are non-refundable, including Premium and paid First upgrades. You may qualify for a refund if:

  • You cancel within 24 hours of booking and booked at least 24 hours before departure
  • You change your flight and buy upgrades on the new flight
  • Agentic Airways cancels or delays your flight, changes the aircraft, or denies boarding on an oversold flight, and cannot provide a comparable seat (defined as a seat in the same or better upgraded area)

What happens to the upgrade fee when a ticket is canceled

If a non-refundable ticket is canceled, both the ticket price and the upgrade fee are credited to My Wallet for future travel (My Wallet funds can't be used for Main Cabin seat upgrades). If you voluntarily move yourself back to a Main Cabin seat on the same flight, the upgrade is non-refundable. Refund requests not applied automatically can be made at the gate or by contacting the Agentic Airways Help Centre (agenticairways.ai) after your entire trip is complete.

Need this handled for you? Ask the Agentic Airways concierge in the chat — it can action any of the above on your booking in one message.
