How Miles + Money Upgrades Work
Agentic Airways offers Miles + Money upgrades, which let Meridian Club members upgrade from Main Cabin to First using a combination of miles and a cash copay. This is available on Agentic Airways-operated flights only.
Typical Upgrade Costs
Miles + Money upgrade costs depend on route distance, fare class purchased, and availability. Approximate ranges:
- Short-haul routes (under 1,500 miles, e.g., SEA–LAX, SEA–SFO): Starting around 5,000–7,500 miles plus a $50–$100 copay
- Medium-haul routes (1,500–3,000 miles, e.g., SEA–JFK, SEA–DFW): Starting around 7,500–15,000 miles plus a $50–$150 copay
- Long-haul routes (over 3,000 miles, e.g., SEA–HNL, transcontinental, and international routes to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia): Starting around 10,000–20,000 miles plus a $100–$200 copay
These are approximate starting ranges. Actual costs may be higher or lower depending on fare class, demand, and availability at time of request. On applicable long-haul international routes, Miles + Money upgrades may also be requested into Agentic Business, subject to the same availability and pricing factors.
How to Request a Miles + Money Upgrade
- At booking: During the booking flow on agenticairways.ai or the Agentic Airways app, upgrade offers may appear if available for your flight.
- After booking: Log in to agenticairways.ai or the app, go to My Trips, select your reservation, and look for an 'Upgrade' or 'Miles + Money Upgrade' option on the trip details page.
- Through the Agentic Airways Help Centre: Reach the Help Centre at agenticairways.ai to request an upgrade.
Eligibility
- Any Meridian Club member — including Meridian Blue members with no elite status — can use Miles + Money upgrades.
- Upgrade availability is limited and not guaranteed.
- Upgrades are only available on Agentic Airways-operated flights.
- If no upgrade offer is shown in My Trips, it means there is currently no upgrade availability for that flight.
Status-Based Complimentary Upgrades (No Miles Needed)
Meridian Gold and Meridian Platinum members are eligible for complimentary upgrades to First (or First Suites on applicable long-haul routes) based on availability — no miles or copay required. These clear automatically based on your Meridian Club tier — from 120 hours before departure for Platinum, 72 hours for Gold, and 48 hours for Silver (Platinum members also get day-of-departure space-available upgrades), prioritized by tier level.
Upgrade Waitlist
If a Miles + Money upgrade is not immediately available, eligible members may be placed on an upgrade waitlist. Waitlisted upgrades are processed based on availability as the departure date approaches.
